Toolbox Overview
The Toolbox provides Loomium users with access to various tools, including World Clocks, Lighting Calculators, Technical References, Tasks, and more.
By selecting Tool Browser from the Toolbox drop-down menu, users can view all the available tools in Loomium.
To access a specific tool, simply click on it to open the respective tool menu.
Some tools may be organized in a hierarchical structure, with sub-levels. For example, the 'Dip Switch Calculator' and 'Light Beam Calculator' can be found under the 'Lighting Calculator' section.
To quickly access frequently used tools, simply click on the star icon located at the top right corner of the tool. This will pin the tool to the toolbox drop-down menu, and the star icon will appear filled with blue when a tool has been pinned.
Some of the highlighted tools include:
World Clock
The World Clock tool displays the time for chosen cities. To add cities to the World Clock, click on the '+' icon at the top right corner and select the desired city from the drop-down menu. When configuring a World Clock, users may name each clock and select the type of clock they prefer, analog or digital. Once a World Clock is configured and added, a setting icon will display and allow users to update or delete a clock if needed.
Dip Switch Calculator
The Dip Switch Calculator tool determines an address by flipping the switches to the 'ON' position. The resulting address will be displayed at the top of the tool. You can identify an 'ON' switch when it turns blue. Alternatively, you can input the address directly into the calculator if you know the address you want the device to be on. The switches will adjust accordingly, displaying the switch configuration required to achieve the desired address.
Light Beam Calculator
The Light Beam Calculator tool offers three calculation variables: "Light Distance," "Beam Width," or "Beam Angle." To perform a calculation, fill in two of the three available options.
For example, if you need a beam width of 2m but have a maximum height of 4m, input these values and select the 'Calculate' button. The calculator will then determine the corresponding Beam Angle.
Cable Pinouts
The Cable Pinouts tool provides a convenient list of commonly used components like C7, P14, XLR 3-Pin, XLR 4-Pin, XLR 5-Pin, Speakon NL4, Speakon NL8, and Socapex 19-Way. Select the right arrow to see reference images for each component.
